I think back to March 2020 when we started and am amazed how different things are today, both in business and in life. We first decided to embark on this venture after making mead for years and we were excited to pursue this passion of ours. Little did we know what a rocky road it would be, but looking back, I’m proud of how far we have come.
We started in a garage, wondering how we would tackle the process of scaling up. During that time however, we have tuned and tinkered our recipe. We have established the process for our flagship meads and created a product that we are ecstatic to share with Colorado. We are now getting prepared to move to our new location where we can scale up further, allowing us to get more of our delicious mead out to Colorado.
We have also done tasting events at Eisenhower Wine and Spirits (EWS). It has been great to get feedback from the community and we are glad to say that our mead has been received very well. We are looking to do another tasting event this month so make sure to keep an eye on our socials to stay up to date. We are available at EWS (1701 w Eisenhower Blvd). Tell them Matt from Meadkrieger sent you :).
We are proud of our successes so far, it hasn’t been without its challenges. We have a location we are looking to move into but processes have slowed to a crawl with back-up and supply chain issues. We had planned to open our tasting room next month, but will need to be pushed back again (again). While this is frustrating, we guarantee we will push through this and achieve our goal of creating a space for the Loveland and Colorado community. This is the spirit of the Norse community, facing adversity with strength and honor for the benefit of the community. And we intend to live up to that spirit. Skol!
